A streaming video collection of curated, discipline-focused, and primary-source materials for learning and research containing tens of thousands of titles.

The Association of Religion Data Archives

ARDA attempts to provide access to the best data on religion. The collection is international in focus and caters to educators, journalists, religious congregations, and researchers. Data included in the ARDA are submitted by the foremost religion scholars and research centers in the world. Currently housed in the Social Science Research Institute, the College of Liberal Arts, and the Department of Sociology at the Pennsylvania State University, the ARDA is funded by the Lilly Endowment, the John Templeton Foundation, Chapman University and the Pennsylvania State University.

The On-Line Books Page

Open Access Digital Theological Library

The OADTL provides access to hundreds of thousands of open access and public domain ebooks and thousands of OA journals on a variety of faiths including Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam.

A resource for finding open access graduate theses and dissertations published around the world. As of February 2014, the resource indexes over 1.9 million documents.

OpenLibrary provides hundreds of thousands of electronic books free of charge and downloadable to your reading device. Register online for a free account and borrow up to five e-books for two weeks. Most of the collection is available only through participating libraries, in other words you need to have an account through your local participating library in order to borrow materials. (Simpson University is a participating library.)

Ebook Central replaces the former Ebrary and Ebook Library platforms. The new platform requires a login regardless of access location.

Questia

An online, subscription-based library that provides 24/7 access to books and journals in a variety of disciplines. Subscriptions cost $99 per year.

Shasta College Library Catalog

The Shasta College Library is centrally located on the Shasta College campus (11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, CA 96003). Simpson University students may check out materials from the circulating collection by using their ID cards to apply for a Shasta College library card.

TOCS-IN, Table of Contents of Journals of Interest to Classicists

Provides the tables of contents of a selection of classics, Near Eastern studies and religion journals, both in text format and through a Web search program. Where possible, links are provided to online fulltext or abstracts (about 6%)
